The second International Airport Expo is a huge success!
With over 20% more booth space taken and twice as many visitors as in 2010, the 2nd International Airport Expo that was staged at The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from 25-27 September was a huge success.
Just under 100 exhibitors participated in the event that was held in the extensive outside exhibition area at The Rio. A large climate controlled purpose built marquee housed the smaller booths whilst the outside space – just under 200,000 sq. ft. – was home to the larger GSE exhibits and the ever popular live demonstration area at the rear of the exhibit ground.
With over 25% of the visitors arriving from outside North America the event is clearly being recognised as an important international exhibition where the major GSE manufacturers are represented. After only the second event the bi-annual International Airport Expo is now established as one of the most important airport equipment show globally and the largest show in North America.
The next event will be staged in the fall of 2014 with the venue and date to be announced shortly.
